Dad is home!

After being in the hospital for more than a week, my father is finally home. He is sore but doing much better.

My foks are happy to be home and plan on putting in the garden now that the ground is a bit drier. All of the rain we received kept the garden muddier than heck and kept them out.

Deer problems abound as well.

Mother purchased 18 beautiful tomatoe plants yesterday from a local greenhouse and placed them in an old freezer that had been filled with dirt. Next to them were the brocolli and cabbage plants she had sprouted from March.

The deer are equal opportunity grazers and ate every plant down to the ground... Not a happy.

Sooo, they are going out to replace all of the plants they lost and will have them in by Wednesday or at least after the next storm passes.
