as we close out 2024 and winter's chill sets in, it's time for reflection and growth.
the bite of winter begins to prevail over the county, I can take some time to breathe, think, and build.
If you have ever been a skateboarder for any substantial length of time you begin to understand the dedication to it and how everything else falls to the wayside.
I am very guilty of this, however I have been able to make progress towards not letting it over rule my life. I am making strides to make this a more effective and cohesive website.
I myself notice a certain ebb and flow with my creativity throughout the year. This year has been on the lighter side of producing anything worth a damn I personally feel. Towards the end of the year I have been able to pick up the slack a little more. I have made some minor and some major changes to the website and I have finally started to upgrade the Production side of Bakwuds Skateboards to be more aligned with my expectations.
i doubt many if any at all will ever see these ramblings of a small business owner.
2025 brings in many new possibilities of advancement or setback, as does every year preceding it. Where do we go from here?
Being a dedicated skateboarder, I know firsthand how the sport can consume your life. It's a balancing act that I've been working on, and I'm proud of the progress I've made in managing my time and energy.
This year, my creativity has ebbed and flowed. While it hasn't been my most productive, I've made significant strides in improving this website and upgrading our production processes.
I may be a small business owner, but I'm always looking ahead. 2025 holds both promise and uncertainty. Where will the journey take us?
